Welcome to Visions of Black and White by Robert daniels. I would like to take this brief momment to thank a fantastic photogragher, Dale Cherney for her great images. This new web site will display as many black and white graphics as I can possibly put on these pages. These are original drawings that are being exposed to the viewing public for the very first time.
These graphic reflect images from my imagination put on paper in a realistic but abstract manner called " abstract realism ".
Robert graduated from Herbert H. Lehman College ( Bronx, New York ), with a B.A. in Studio Art specializing in Printmaking. This incorparates woodcutting, etching, linoleum cutting, engraving, intaglio, and lithograghic methods. The black and white series is very closely related to the techniques of carving on wood to achieve a desired result.

Artist usely do work in series, that is, they work from a central focus to refect a theme or thought This body of work was originally created because I wanted to publish them as a book, which is still a possibility.
